    • Scan computer for trouble codes, has code P0455 present (EVAP System, Large Leak Detected) Perform smoke test of EVAP system, found severe leak at fuel filler neck, found fuel cap not secure, very loose, causing leak. Resecure cap, retest system, clear trouble codes and road test vehicle upon completion. No recurring codes at this time.
    • Inspect brake linings, no services needed, front and rear linings are in good condition (approx 70% remaining). Did notice during course of test drive that there is a brake shimmy upon brake application caused by warped rotors. Is not a safety issue, and can be remedied by resurfacing front brake rotors Customer advised, will reschedule for a later time.

    • Road tested vehicle, did not encounter any issues. Released parking brake and placed in neutral while on hoist, and spin wheels. Wheels spin freely, no dragging noted. Cannot inspect parking brake shoe linings without removing calipers and rotors.

    • Test no start condition, determined faulty starter motor assy. Cust advised, repair approved. Remove accessories and components as needed, replace starter motor assy, reassemble, and check operation. Now functioning normally.
    • Remove Intake Manifold Plenum and accessories / components as needed. Remove both valve covers. Clean valve covers and all sealing surfaces, renew calve cover gaskets and spark plug tube seals, etc as provided in gasket set. Reassemble and check for leaks, road test upon completion.

    • Perform visual inspection of cooling system, check radiator and coolant reservoir, system shows no signs whatsoever of oil contamination in cooling system, also has no signs of coolant in engine oil. Perform system pressure test and inspect for leaks, no coolant leaks noted at this time. Road test vehicle extensively (27 miles) and reinspect coolant, still no signs of oil contamination. Perform system chemical block test to test for possible blown head gasket or signs of carbon monoxide in cooling system, test results negative. No evidence at this time of any mechanical issues related to dealership findings.
    • Perform general inspection, no major issues noted. Recommend getting front end alignment, front tires are worn on inside edge (customer replaced control arms) Stabilizer bar end links needed soon. does not pose a safety issue
