Test system, inspect brake switch and brake lamps, working correctly. Disassemble shift console to test interlock solenoid, unit tests fine. Test electrical system per flow chart, determined faulty Body Control Module (BCM) assy. Requires replacement. Component is not covered under extended warranty, customer advised, will address at later time.
Test left rear door lock actuator, determined faulty, is serviced with latch assy. Component is not covered under extended warranty, customer advised, will address at later time.
Confirmed fluid loss, found coolant leaking from weep hole on water pump. Component is covered under extended warranty, repair approved, performed as noted.
System is not blowing cold, found no refrigerant in system. Recharge and added dye to system to determine source of refrigerant loss. Found leak at seam where reciever-drier assy attached to condenser assy, requires condenser assy replacement. Component is covered under extended warranty, repair approved, performed as noted.
R&R components/accessories as needed, renew ac condenser assy, reassemble, and check system operation upon completion of system recharge.
Evacuate a/c system for condenser replacement, recharge upon completion of repairs
R&R accessories/components as needed, renew water pump assy, reassemble, and refill with fresh coolant. Road test upon completion.
