    • vehicle was towed in, started fine off tow truck, no codes present in computer, oil was full but watery like, very thin, vehicle starts up and runs. scan tool data showed VVT responding slowly, removed adjuster solenoids at intake and camshaft, both dark with debris, slight metal noted. advised customer both solenoids need replacing with new oil and filter, repairs were approved and completed, road tested upon completion and no further problems noted.
    • remove and replace camshaft adjuster solenoids
    • Change oil and oil filter.

    • Replace downstream 02 sensor, clear code and road test vehicle. No recurring code at this time.
    • Reset tire pressures, all 4 were below specs, lamp now off No labor fee
    • Needs front and rear brakes
    • Install new windshield (Low Price Auto Glass)
    • Needs window motor/regulator assy. Repair declined, Disconnected window motor to prevent operation, and placed screw in regulator so window does not drop No labor fee
    • Replace front brake pad linings and front brake disc rotors. Clean and lubricate brake calipers and slide mechanisms. Road test vehicle upon completion.
    • Replace rear brake linings and rear brake disc rotors. Retract rear brake caliper actuators. Clean and lubricate rear brake caliper slide mechanism. Road test vehicle upon completion
    • Change oil and oil filter. Perform overall safety inspection. Check all fluid levels, air filter, belts, hoses, etc. Inspect brake linings and check/adjust tire pressures as needed. Inspect exterior lamps/lighting. Reset service reminder indicator (if equipped) .
    • Drain transmission fluid, refill with specified mgfr fluid, ck fluid level and road test.
    • Check brake fluid for moisture and contamination. Inspect all hydraulic line and hoses. Inspect calipers and wheel cylinders. Inspect master cylinder and cap. Evacuate brake master cylinder of dirty fluid, claen, and refill, and bleed calipers and/or wheel cylinders until fluid is clean.
    • Drain cooling system, refill with fresh coolant, road test upon completion.

    • Scan computer for trouble codes, has no codes present in current or history modes. Due to intermittent tachometer operation, monitored ignition system components, found likely faulty crankshaft position sensor. Wave pattern is not to specs. Replace crank sensor and monitor data, now has correct wave form pattern. Road tested vehicle 27 miles, was not able to duplicate condition. Parts and labor fee waived, Merry Christmas!
