    • Inspect and found faulty water pump, needs pump and serpentine fan belt replacement. Cust advised, repair approved.
    • Remove components/accessories as needed, remove faulty water pump assy. Clean sealing surfaces, install new water pump and serpentine fan belt and reassemble. Refill with coolant, and road test upon completion.

    • Confirmed condition, brake rotors are warped causing vibration. Needs front rotors resurfaced. Customer advised, repair approved.
    • Test drove vehicle to Newbury Park via Conejo Grade. Confirmed higher RPM when descending grade, no abnormal issues noted, Transmission is automatically choosing which gear to shift into, will upshift normally if speed is increased, and downshift normally as speed decreases. No shifting issues encountered. Scanned computer for any possible trouble codes, no transmission related trouble codes present.
    • Scan computer for trouble codes, has code B0081 (Passenger Presence Module) in history mode, meaning problem has not occurred recently. Recommend monitoring and returning for inspection if lamp comes on again.
    • R&R intake manifold and ignition coils. Replace spark plugs, torque to mgfr specs, reassemble, and road test upon completion.
    • Drain rear differential, refill with mgfr recommended gear oil.
    • Resurface front brake rotors, road test upon completion. No further shimmy encountered

As previously outlined, may have internal engine coolant leaks making coolant loss non-visual. Recommend seeing repair shop with diesel repair familiarity. Beyond scope of our repair services.     • Inspect and confirmed engine oil cooler located under intake manifold is leaking, oil flowing down back side of engine and onto transmission bell housing. Needs cooler replacement. Customer advised, repairs approved, performed as noted below.
    • Scan computer for trouble codes, confirmed code P26AB (Engine Coolant Bypass Valve Stuck) present. Cust advised, valve replacement approved. No charge for diagnostics
    • Replace coolant bypass valve assy, Refill cooling system, clear trouble code, and road test upon completion.
    • R&R accessories/components as needed, remove intake manifold assy. Remove old engine oil cooler, install new cooler assy and torque to mgfr specs. Reassemble, change engine oil and filter due to coolant cross contamination, refill cooling system, and road test upon completion. Note: may have slight residual oil drippage due to extent of leak before repairs performed. Should diminish over a few days.
