- Confirmed condition, brake rotors are warped causing vibration. Needs front rotors resurfaced. Customer advised, repair approved.
- Test drove vehicle to Newbury Park via Conejo Grade. Confirmed higher RPM when descending grade, no abnormal issues noted, Transmission is automatically choosing which gear to shift into, will upshift normally if speed is increased, and downshift normally as speed decreases. No shifting issues encountered. Scanned computer for any possible trouble codes, no transmission related trouble codes present.
- Scan computer for trouble codes, has code B0081 (Passenger Presence Module) in history mode, meaning problem has not occurred recently. Recommend monitoring and returning for inspection if lamp comes on again.
- R&R intake manifold and ignition coils. Replace spark plugs, torque to mgfr specs, reassemble, and road test upon completion.
- Drain rear differential, refill with mgfr recommended gear oil.
- Resurface front brake rotors, road test upon completion. No further shimmy encountered
