- Reconnect battery and test no start condition. Ctarter has adequate power supply, but is getting no start signal to solenoid from ignition system. Can manually activate starter, have determined starter is not faulty. Trace starter solenoid signal wire system to locate open / short in system. All wiring is intact, found faulty ignition switch assy at steering column. Replace ignition switch assy, and retest system, now operating correctly. Also resecured battery cables (were loose/disconnected on tow in)
