- Scan computer for trouble codes, has code P011A present (Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor1/2 Correlation) Test system, determined faulty heater core assy, is plugged, has 60° temperature difference at input/output hoses. Requires heater core replacement, system flush, and fresh coolant. Cust advised, repair approved.
- Offload refrigerant from a/c system, disassemble dashboard and components as needed. Remove heater core case, replace heater core assy. Reassemble, and flush cooling system twice to remove all possible debris/corrosion, and refill with fresh coolant. Recharge ac system, clear trouble code, and road test vehicle upon completion.
