- Scan computer for trouble codes, has code P0673 present (Cylinder 3 Glow Plug Circuit) Recommend replacing all 8 glow plugs. Customer advised, repairs approved, performed as noted below. $195 diagnostic fee waived
- Shimmy appears to be related to worn front end components. Performed repairs as noted, road tested upon completion of repairs, no further vibration/shimmy noted.
- Inspect steering/suspension. Previous repair recommendations made
- CONTROL ARM – Remove & Replace – Upper, Both Sides [DOES NOT include alignment.]
- TIE ROD &/OR END – Remove & Replace – Recirculating Ball Type Gears Outer,Both –
- IDLER ARM – Remove & Replace – w/o Skid Plate – [DOES NOT include alignment.]
- Alignment
- Remove front wheels and fender liners, replace all 8 glow plugs. Torque to mgfr specs, clear trouble code, and road test vehicle upon completion.
