- Scan computer for trouble codes, has codesP0339 (Crankshaft Position Sensor Circuit, Intermittent Interruption) and P0202 (Mass Air Flow Sensor Voltage Low). Customer advises he replacedMAF sensor. Perform CKP Sensor relearn procedure, and road tested vehicle. Can feel shudder in 1st gear under slight accel. Inspected transmission fluid, is very dark/dirty. Can cause these conditions on Honda vehicles. Customer advised, approved transmission service as possible resolve to problem. Drain transmission, refill with factory Honda DW1 Transmission Fluid and operate transmission. Performed drain and refill procedure two more times to insure fluid is clean. Road tested upon completion, no further vibrations or shudders encountered.
- Purge transmission fluid from system, replace with factory specified fluid, and road test upon completion (See notes above)
