Requires replacement before system can be checked for secondary issues/problems. Customer advised, repair approved.
R&R accessories/components as needed, remove old water pump, clean all sealing surfaces, and install new water pump assy. Refill system with water first to inspect for any secondary leaks, found upper radiator hose leaking at plastic tee. Cust advised, replacement approved. Renew hose as listed below, and refill system with coolant. Clear trouble codes from computer, and road test vehicle extensively. No recurring codes, no overheat issues encountered.

Confirmed condition, Perform visual inspection of ac components, no signs of leakage, no visible issues noted. Offload refrigerant from system, recovered .30 lbs (System capacity is 1.3 lbs). Perform system leak test, and recharge system, added flouro dye to determine source of leakage if needed. System currently working well after recharge, no leakage detected.

Scan computer for trouble codes, has codes P0301, P0171, and P0174 present. Monitor fuel trim data, all components operating correctly, within specs. Vehicle needs spark plug replacement, was due at 100,000 miles, has OEM plugs still installed. Recommend replacement first. Customer advised this is a spark plug style that commonly beaks in cylinder head upon extraction, and may require extra labor to remove broken spark plug tips. Also advised of possibility of metal electrode tip falling into cylinder. Repairs approved, performed as noted below.
Remove old spark plugs, 2 spark plugs broke off upon removal, requiring extraction of electrode tip / lower half of spark plug. Install new spark plugs and torque to specs. Clear trouble codes and road tested vehicle upon completion. No further misfiring, no recurring trouble codes at this time.

System is full. Test engine oil pressure at idle at normal operating temperature (hot), is above minimum reqd spec of 25 psi with 30 psi. Test camshaft actuators, both seem to be functioning normally. Changed engine oil and filter, installed factory Motorcraft oil filter. Cleared trouble codes and road tested vehicle. No recurring codes or conditions at this time. Recommend monitoring for check engine lamp or rough run condition, and returning for reinspection if problem reoccurs.
