- Battery completely dead upon tow in. Perform battery charge service and test charging and starting circuits. Battery tests marginal. Load test battery, fails load test also, drops to 6V. Test Alternator Assy, it has internal issue, is not charging system properly, needs replacement. Replace alternator assy, and battery, and retest system. Ck for parasitic draws, let vehicle sit a few days, no issues noted. ** Customer wants old battery back to return to Costco**
