- Scan computer for trouble codes, has code P0455 present (EVAP System, Large Leak Detected) Perform smoke test of EVAP system, found severe leak at fuel filler neck, found fuel cap not secure, very loose, causing leak. Resecure cap, retest system, clear trouble codes and road test vehicle upon completion. No recurring codes at this time.
- Inspect brake linings, no services needed, front and rear linings are in good condition (approx 70% remaining). Did notice during course of test drive that there is a brake shimmy upon brake application caused by warped rotors. Is not a safety issue, and can be remedied by resurfacing front brake rotors Customer advised, will reschedule for a later time.
